Among the many stories written for children, Akbar and Birbal emerge as favourites. Written to teach children moral values, these stories feature witty conversations between Mughal Emperor Akbar and his beloved Minister Birbal.

These stories often begin with a dilemma, for which Birbal always comes up with a sharp-witted solution. From administrative problems to disputes among people in the kingdom as well as personal problems, Birbal has a solution for all.

While the stories offer a barrel of laughs, they never fail to teach lessons on the importance of common sense, deception, bravery, loyalty, truth, forethought and more. These timeless stories have entertained generations of readers and are loved by children and adults alike.

This set of books brings together six rib-tickling stories to keep children entertained and amazed. The stories are told in simple language and paired with colourful illustrations to help children better understand them.
